Gospel according to a child~
On Saturday we visited Coit Tower, an Observatory, in San Francisco. There is a Statue of an explorer in the front of the Tower. Rowan took interest in it and asked Dad if it was Jesus. Ian immediately took the opportunity to answer Rowan's question with a very sure answer of his own.... He said, "No Rowan, it's not Jesus. Jesus doesn't have a sword, He has a whip." I guess he's remembering the story of Jesus clearing out the money changers in the temple. I'm glad to know he's listening!

Remembering what Easter is all about!
Grandma Barney sent an Easter package to us, we (mom and dad) got to open said package and look at what was inside. Ian wanted to see what Grandma sent as well. Our Conversation in the car on the way to Walmart today....
Ian: "I want to see what's in the box!"
Mom: "Nope, it's not Easter yet. You have to wait til tomorrow!"
Ian: "But that's not fair that you and Dad got to see but we don't get to see it!"
Dad: "Well we're adults, the same rules don't apply to us."
Ian: " That's not FAIR!!"
Mom: "There's a lot of things in life that are not fair Ian."
And that's when Rowan(our 4 year old) pipes in: "What about Jesus?"
LOL! You are right Rowan! Thanks for putting us in our place!!
